Mac Miller Drops Surprise Track “The Quest”

Mac Miller fans rejoice! An unreleased gem from the Pittsburgh rapper just hit streaming services. “The Quest,” produced by Mac himself under his alias Larry Fisherman, is a chill and introspective track that will take you on a journey.

This song samples “Phone Call” by Jon Brion, from the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (big props to Brion for co-writing this one!). It was originally a vinyl exclusive for the 10th anniversary of Mac’s album “Watching Movies With The Sound Off,” but now everyone can get in on the vibes.

“The Quest” is a perfect example of Mac’s artistry. It’s mellow, it’s thoughtful, and it lets you see right into his head. This is a must-listen for any Mac fan, or anyone who digs introspective music.

Quotable Lyrics:

As we get higher, f*** work, girl, let’s get fired (Girl, let’s get fired)
In the making (In the making), I’m doin’ great things
Ran around the motherf****n’ streets like a psycho
Hard to keep your balance when you’re jumpin’ on a tightrope (Tightrope)
Jumpin’ on a tightrope (Rope)
If I fall, would you love me at all?
