Kendrick Lamar Goes Nuclear: “Meet the Grahams” Takes Aim at Drake’s Family

The hip-hop world is reeling as Kendrick Lamar unleashes a vicious new diss track, “Meet the Grahams,” taking aim not just at Drake, but at his entire family. This brutal attack marks Lamar’s third diss track in just a week, following “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA,” and serves as a direct response to Drake’s own diss track “Family Matters.”

“Meet the Grahams” throws all subtlety out the window. Lamar directly addresses Drake’s son Adonis, his parents Sandra and Dennis Graham, and even throws a bombshell allegation of a hidden 11-year-old daughter Drake has never publicly acknowledged.

The lyrical assault doesn’t stop there. Lamar paints Drake as a deeply flawed individual, labeling him a “narcissist,” “misogynist,” and someone struggling with addiction, gambling, and even employing sex offenders within his OVO label. The song’s cover art is a brutal extension of this attack, displaying items rumored to be Drake’s possessions – stolen from his father’s suitcase – including prescription pills and jewelry receipts.

The severity of the accusations reaches a peak when Lamar compares Drake to disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, suggesting they both deserve life imprisonment. Lamar further criticizes Drake for his portrayal of Black women in his music, accusing him of both hating and hypersexualizing them.

The lyrics themselves are structured as a series of letters directly addressed to each member of Drake’s family. Lamar offers to be a positive role model for Adonis and warns the others about the negative influences Drake allegedly embodies.

Drake’s initial response has been one of mockery. He posted an Instagram story laughing off the claims about a hidden daughter and dismissing Lamar’s entire diss track as the work of someone “in shambles.”

However, the seriousness of the allegations and the deeply personal nature of the attack ensure “Meet the Grahams” will send shockwaves through the hip-hop community. This latest salvo significantly escalates the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, pushing the boundaries of lyrical warfare and entering uncharted territory.

Quotable Lyrics

Dear Adonis
I’m sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest
It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive

I look at him and wish your grandpa woulda wore a condom
I’m sorry that you gotta grow up and then stand behind him

Life is hard, I know, the challenge is always gon’ beat us home
Sometimes our parents make mistakes that affect us until we grown
And you’re a good kid that need good leadership
Let me be your mentor since your daddy don’t teach you sh*t
