Which direction will Marvel go in the Black Panther franchise?
It’s still so hard to believe that the brilliant Chadwick Boseman is no longer with us. In 2018 he took us all on an amazing journey to the land of Wakanda as King T’Challa, in the Black Panther. No one would imagine that 2 years later the talks of the upcoming 2022 sequel would not include Boseman, who embodied the Black Panther perfectly. But now here we are having this discussion.
The rumor mill is in full swing as people envision who they would like to see as the Black Pantherin the 2022 sequel. Also there are many others who feel like the role of King T’Challa as the Black Panther, should not be resumed, but a different character should become the Black Panther instead. Either way Chadwick Boseman left Marvelwith some very big shoes to fill.
It will be interesting to see which direction Marvel will go in with the record-breaking Black Panther franchise. Black Panther fans all over the world have been looking forward to returning to Wakanda for some time now. But will the passing of Boseman cause some fans to lose interest in a Wakanda without him, or will Marvel be able to create a magical experience that leaves fans wanting more?
Marvelusually delivers, so fans are anticipating a epic Black Panther sequel. Black Panther 2, is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2022. Let’s just hope that it doesn’t feel rushed like the 2019 Captain Marvel movie did, because that would be a real disappointment. A lot can happen before the 2022 release date, but for now, all we can do is wait and see.
