Drifting Away – Chief Keef
Chief Keef Floats Back with “Drifting Away”
Chicago’s own Chief Keef is back on the scene with a brand new single, “Drifting Away.” Clocking in at just over 4 minutes, “Drifting Away” seems to be a solo effort from him, showcasing his signature melodic rap style over a hard-hitting trap drill beat.
This single is part of a recent wave of releases from the artist. In 2024 alone, he dropped his album “Almighty So 2” and another single, “Dirty Nachos” featuring Mike WiLL Made-It. If you’re a fan of his or just looking for some new heat in the melodic rap/trap lane, “Drifting Away” is definitely worth checking out.
Quotable Lyrics:
Big rubber bands, I’ll be poppin’
In a car lot, get the biggest truck, I’m weighing my options
Baby said I treat her like a option (Huh?)
B*tch, you ain’t a TV, if you was I would’ve been muted you
How life been? It’s been beautiful
Seven thousand square feet, ni**a coming from a damn cubicle
Hole in you same size a hula-hoop
Foe’n’em put the beats on ya, ni**a, now ya f**king name Fruity Loops (Broke ni**as, so high, I’m—)
