Ariana Grande Announced Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion as Guest Artists on ’34+35′ Remix on Her Social Media on Jan. 14.
When it was announced that Ariana Grande would release a remix of her hit “34+35“, Arianators everywhere became excited. After her fifth album, Positions, received favorable reviews, Grande’s songs off the album began to climb the charts. However, the song on her album with the most sexually suggestive lyrics is the song that will be released as a remix. Although this hit is known for its provocative lyrics, it is also known as a hit that is sung by twenty-year-olds everywhere.
Originally teasing fans with a Twitter video, everyone went crazy about who may be featured on this song. In the past, Grande has worked with artists from genres such as Hip-Hop, R&B, and Electronic/Dance. However, one frequent guess was Doja Cat. Whether it was because of the previous collaboration or fast breakout, it was a pretty accurate guess. Even though Megan Thee Stallion was a frequent guess, most users guessed that the other musician would be Nicki Minaj due to their recent work together.

Why Are We Excited?
One reason for excitement may have to do with previous Grande’s previous collaborative hits. Even though Doja Cat is already featured on Positions, she and Megan Thee Stallion are incredible choices due to their powerful voices and strong personalities. Coincidently enough, both artists are in the Best New Artist category for the 2021 Grammy Awards. However, knowing Grande, her collaborations are done to make a song unique.
Her hit song “The Way” feat. Mac Miller helped her break out of Nickelodeon fame and onto the charts as a solo artist. From there, she would go on to collaborate with Jesse J and Nicki Minaj for their number one hit, “Bang Bang.” However, the collaborations did not stop there! In fact, one of her most recent collaborations with Lady Gaga titled “Rain On Me” was also nominated for a Grammy Award this year for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
What Should You Expect?
If we said that you could expect nothing but greatness, it’d be a lie. However, if fans and critics listen to this remix and hear nothing but greatness, that won’t be a surprise. Each artist involved in this remix has created hit collaborations in the past and present. Ariana Grande has been known to be part of the collaborative number one hits with top artists, as previously explained.
Artist Megan Thee Stallion was recently part of the hit song “WAP” by Cardi B, which is known to have provocative lyrics similar to the ones of “34+35“. Ironically enough, that hit is downright catchy as well! As for Doja Cat, not only has she already collaborated with Grande, but she’s also worked with Tyga and Gucci Mane. It’s safe to say that the artists will provide a collaborative hit that stays true to all of their musical roots.
The remix of “34+35” will be out this Friday on all music streaming services. Until then, the music video for Ariana Grande‘s hit is right below!
